About the Mars Society

The Mars Society is the world's largest and most influential space advocacy organization dedicated to the human exploration and settlement of the planet Mars. The MDRS is the Mars Society's Mars analog habitat located near Hanksville, Utah. Annual field seasons run from October through May, consisting of two week crew rotations.
